Quite a lot of things have been happening at national level.
The government want to cap pay to 1% while clawing some of it back in increased NI contributions. The Tories would actually freeze our pay.
Meanwhile, Leigh Lewis decided to impose changes to the Civil Service Compensation Scheme without consulting PCS. Not only is this in spite of instructions from ministers it is probably illegal.
He has probably already made up his mind who will win the next general election & feels he can stick two fingers up to the current government.
It is time to fight back & PCS is already mounting a legal challange & calling for talks.
Only a strong union has a chance so vote for Mark Serwotka if you have not already done so.
